Our collections revive a generation-old basket weaving tradition, hand-crafted in small Philippine villages by artisans who weave from the comfort of their homes. Every piece is distinctive, durable, and environmentally responsible, crafted from sustainably harvested forest vines that grow swiftly and renew themselves naturally.

The Art of Craftsmanship

From the moment vines are harvested by hand in the tropical forests, artisans begin the meticulous process of preparing and stripping the fibers with the simplest of tools. Guided by resourcefulness and skills passed down through generations, they transform raw vines into graceful strands ready to be woven.

Depending on the complexity of the design, it can take 1 to 5 days to complete a single piece, from harvesting and drying the vines to handweaving them into their final form.

Our precise bakeware baskets are a marvel of craftsmanship: woven without molds, guided only by simple tape measurements and the artisans’ remarkable instinct and skill. Each piece fits glass or porcelain snugly, a testament to precision that feels almost magical.

The result is serveware that is not only robust and naturally heat-resistant, but also resilient to washing in water without warping or breaking.
